Out of nowhere the jade rain dissolves the stray thoughts; I see straight through the divine tune and follow its manner. Sitting withered, all at once a light-year, and clear understanding is here before the eyes.
Level and upright, I swallow the vastness; the nature of emptiness shows itself as it will. This place here is the Buddha-heaven—what need is there to keep returning without end?

Jade rain: the rain of pear blossoms;
Buddha-heaven: as good as the Western Heaven, that is, the Land of Utmost Bliss spoken of in Buddhism.
