Ye You Gong: Seeking the Path

Ye You Gong: Seeking the Path · Illustration

Making karma, the fruit of the immortal tree trembles; dropped into chaos, easy pickings for the demons. Violent, stealing a life, the miasma poisons and harms. Run, run, run—the gate of life is seized, the spirit is fed upon.

Thousand-eyed bodhi seed, it cannot save—boundless, without an edge. Holding the spirit-consciousness back, not daring to drown, chase, chase, chase—the power of the vow is lost, and memory turns mean.

Glosses—

Langgan: the fruit of the immortals' tree;
Thousand-eyed bodhi seed: the thousand-eyed bodhi is an incarnation of the Thousand-Handed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin Bodhisattva.
