The bedding refuses me; I light the sky lamp. Grass and trees rustle — do not listen so closely. We drink the jade nectar together and go looking for the dream-country; against the high wall I fear only leaning there alone.

Qiongjiang: fine wine;
Dian tiandeng ('lighting the sky lamp'): an old Han Chinese festival custom of hanging a lamp from a long pole and keeping it burning from dusk until dawn; it is called a 'sky lamp';
Lingping [pīng]: solitary, alone.
