One Thought, a Mortal Life · Stubborn and Foolish by Nature · 31 / 102
· Contemplating

Out of nowhere a jade rain washes the stray thoughts away; I see to the heart of the divine music and keep to its measure. Sitting like dry wood, a light-year passes in a flash, and clear seeing is right before my eyes.
Level and upright, I swallow the vastness; the shows itself as it will. This very place is the Buddha-heaven—what need to come back, and back, without end?
Glosses—
Jade rain: the rain of pear blossoms;
Buddha-heaven: as good as the Western Heaven, that is, the Land of Utmost Bliss spoken of in Buddhism.
